A high stakes reimagining of the Icarus myth, combined and layered with that of Theseus and The Minotaur. Join Ikarus as he enters the dreaded labyrinth in this Greek mythology retelling.

Ikarus was raised a prisoner in the palace of Knossos on the island of Genesis in ancient Greece. For as long as he can remember he has known that he is the one thing holding his father, the famed Daedalus, back from escaping servitude. Kami-- About Trailer Park Cats

I loved this book! All the different stories kept me very entertained and I was always eager to turn the page. Everything is written well and I feel it easy to put myself into the shoes or "paws" of these characters very easily! If you're looking forward to a really good book with interesting characters, I highly recommend!

Christie P.-- About Falling Storm

I picked up this story on kindle vella first. I mentioned it to my kids, and they were so interested that I bought the paperback. I loved learning about African animals as a teenager, so this story really caught my eye. I enjoyed it as an adult as well. The characters are relatable and the wild setting and facts feel realistic. This story is at least as good as Erin Hunter's animal stories, and I'm planning on reading it to my kids soon.

Unique voice and engaging plots...

A. E. Shumaker-- About The Meer: Perilous Ground

This contains several short stories that follows a group of animals and their offspring. There is love, murder, betrayal, friendship, loyalty, all sorts of adventures. My daughter who is 11 was worried it would be too cutesy or cheesey because it was about animals, but it definitely was not! The author definitely did research about the animals behavior, habitat and diets. There's a bit of a supernatural element that I enjoyed. I would recommend for older children or adults.
